9/16/20 Inanimate Racer (1998)

Inanimate Racer (1998) by EricSoft Technologies and published by Watermelon Productions for DOS. This is the only “Meditative Racer” game I think exists. Inanimate Racer is unmatched, I cannot describe accurately, in words, the heart-pounding thrills of this title. Really, it is miraculous what was possible back then using only DOS and MS-Paint. Truly, a marvel for our times. Okay, I’m kidding. This is a troll game made by one guy as a joke, but I can’t help but finding it amusing. There’s something inherently charming about so-called kusoge, I think it’s the fact that you know it was made by one person out of silly passion, meant for a small audience of maybe their friends or others who share their sense of humor.
